Physics Student from UNTAN Qualifies for the 2025 National ONMIPA Competition

The Physics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Tanjungpura, proudly celebrates another remarkable achievement. Xavier Radjjieb Jason Benn Hutagaol, a 2022 Physics undergraduate student, has successfully qualified for the 2025 National Olympiad of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (ONMIPA) in the field of Physics.

Xavier’s accomplishment marks a significant milestone for the Physics Study Program, as ONMIPA is a prestigious national competition organized by the the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia to recognize and foster outstanding students in the fields of science from universities across Indonesia.

The Head of the Physics Study Program, [Dr. Azrul Azwar], expressed appreciation and pride for this achievement.

“We highly appreciate Xavier’s dedication and the support from his academic mentors in preparing for ONMIPA. His success is a source of pride for the Physics community and serves as motivation for other students to continue striving for excellence and bringing honor to Universitas Tanjungpura at the national level,” he stated.

Before reaching the national stage, Xavier went through rigorous selection processes at both the university and regional levels. His qualification demonstrates the strong academic potential and commitment of Physics students at UNTAN, especially in advancing scientific knowledge and innovation.
