Pontianak, 7 December 2024 – The Physics Study Programme of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Tanjungpura, held the MBKM Expo 2024 at the Universitas Tanjungpura Conference Hall. The event carried the theme “Implementation of MBKM in the Physics Study Programme, FMIPA Untan 2025” and served as a platform to showcase the outcomes and achievements of students who have participated in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) programme.
A total of 28 students involved in various MBKM schemes took part as presenters. They shared their experiences, projects, and contributions during their participation in MBKM through various modes such as independent study, institutional internships, entrepreneurship, teaching assistance, and research.
The Expo aimed to:
- Showcase the outcomes and achievements of students involved in MBKM,
- Inspire and motivate other students to actively participate in the MBKM programme, and
- Evaluate the implementation of MBKM as an effort to improve the quality and effectiveness of the programme within the university.
Through this event, the Physics Study Programme of FMIPA Untan reaffirms its commitment to supporting the implementation of MBKM as part of the transformation of higher education—towards a system that is adaptive and oriented to students’ future needs. The Expo is expected to serve as a moment of collective reflection and to strengthen collaboration between lecturers, students, and external partners in advancing the success of MBKM in the future.
